Virtual Membership Cards: Important information for all members
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, reduce our environmental impact and simplify our members' experience, we have made an important change regarding membership cards, to allow easy and convenient access for all members wherever they may be.
No More Plastic
We have stopped automatically providing plastic membership cards and now use virtual cards. This change helps us reduce waste and protect the environment and allows you to access your membership card anywhere, at any time.
Why Haven't You Received a Plastic Card?
The reason why you haven't received a plastic membership card, is because we now issue virtual cards. These cards work just like the plastic ones and should be used for accessing healthcare services.
How to Get Your Virtual Card
If you have a smartphone, follow these steps to get your virtual card:
- Download the Discovery App: Find it on the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Log In: Use your member details to log in.
- Load Your Card: Go to the 'Membership Card' section to view and use your virtual card.
Need a Plastic Card?
If you would prefer a plastic card, you can still request one by contacting our contact centre or your broker.
